Azalea Encore ‘Autumn Prince’ – 3L Pot

Azalea Encore ‘Autumn Prince’ is a bold and reliable reblooming azalea that adds vibrant colour across three seasons. Its rich, reddish-pink blooms first appear in spring, followed by repeat flushes in summer and again in early autumn. The semi-double flowers stand out beautifully against its dense, dark green evergreen foliage, which provides structure and interest all year round.

Perfect for borders, containers, or woodland-style gardens, ‘Autumn Prince’ thrives in a sunny to partially shaded position with moist, acidic, well-drained soil. It’s more sun-tolerant than traditional azaleas, allowing for greater flexibility in garden design. Mature height and spread reach around 75–90cm, making it ideal for small gardens or patio pots.

Prune lightly after the main spring bloom to shape and encourage bushier growth. Avoid hard pruning, as it can affect future flower production. Simply remove spent blooms and any leggy or damaged stems.

Feed with an ericaceous fertiliser in early spring and again after the first flush to support continued flowering and healthy foliage. Mulching annually with pine bark or leaf mould helps maintain the required soil conditions.
