Saxifraga x arendsii ‘Alpino Early Lime’ is a beautiful perennial that produces masses of star-shaped, lime-green flowers in spring. This compact plant has a trailing habit, and its green foliage forms a lovely mat that provides excellent ground cover in a rockery or border.
The best position for Saxifraga x arendsii ‘Alpino Early Lime’ is in full sun or partial shade in a well-drained soil that’s moist but not waterlogged. This plant is ideal for growing in rock gardens, alpine beds, and containers, where it can be appreciated up close. It grows to a height of around 15cm and a spread of up to 30cm.
Saxifraga x arendsii ‘Alpino Early Lime’ is a hardy plant that blooms from late winter to early spring, with peak flowering occurring in March and April. It’s an early flowering plant that provides a welcome burst of colour to the garden when most other plants are still dormant.
