Acer aconitifolium – The Stunning Fern-Leaf Maple

Acer aconitifolium, also known as the Fern-Leaf Maple, is a striking deciduous tree admired for its deeply lobed, fern-like foliage and exceptional autumn colour. In spring, it produces small red flowers, adding delicate beauty before the leaves fully unfurl. By autumn, the green foliage transforms into a spectacular display of crimson, orange, and gold.

This slow-growing tree reaches a height and spread of around 3–5 metres, making it ideal for smaller gardens, woodland settings, or as a feature in mixed borders.
